Aectra distributes EnHance waxes from the South African producer Sasol.
EnHance is a wax manufactured using the Fischer Tropsch process.
It is a particularly effective processing aid for polyolefin injection molding and extrusion.
EnHance facilitates demolding and reduces the power consumption of extruders and injection molding machines. It improves the incorporation of fillers and recycled polymers, as well as the gloss and surface finish of parts. It reduces stress whitening and also enables the processing of higher viscosity grades.
The additional cost of incorporating EnHance is largely offset by energy savings, improved productivity, and a reduction in manufacturing waste.
EnHance does not degrade mechanical performance or the appearance of the part.
